  • The desktop version is different from the phone app. Which makes it difficult to use for some employees
  • I wish there was a way to allow employees to edit their own hours without making them an administrator…. maybe something that would flag it so I could approve or verify?
  • The biggest complaint we have is that employees must sign in every time they open the app. It doesn’t allow them to stay signed in, or even for autocomplete to fill out the login info

“Simple to use”

Overall: The overall experience of using this software has been wonderful for me because it is extremely easy to use and really simple to learn. Everything that I ever needed to do would always be right there. I never have to jump from one site to another trying to figure out where everything is.

Pros: I like that the software is really simple to understand because everything I need to do is readily available on it. I like the fact that I can look at everything in one go such as pay dates, pay stubs, tax info, benefits info, and more. Everything that I would require is all available right there in one place.

Cons: I did not really find anything that I didn’t like about Paycor. It is extremely easy to use so I never have trouble finding stuff. Literally everything is there on the platform. Since I’m not a tech person and just an ordinary worker, I don’t really have control over how it all looks but I quite like it visually, so everything Paycor is doing is right!

“Finally an easier way to track my pay”

Overall: I love the application and I am so glad our company started using it. It has made me a lot better at budgeting because of the help that comes with Paycor and its accessibility.

Pros: It tracks every minute I work. This way I always know exactly how much time I have spent working. It also tracks all my sick leaves as well as vacation days – the ones I have used up and the ones I have left. I can apply on the application whenever I need to request a leave. I can also get to see what my check is going to be like before my payday, which I find pretty amazing. I can clock in my timings through the application itself, which is a big help whenever I am working remotely.

Cons: The application locks up sometimes and you get logged out, but it is usually quite easy to get back into the app. Sometimes the information isn’t updated regularly, but that also gets quickly fixed whenever it does take place.

“Average Time and Attendance System”

Overall: We mainly only use the Paycor system for our employees who work on an hourly basis and need to clock in and out of the system. Paycor actually also works really well for all our employees who work across multiple departments or work with us on a project basis. They can easily shift between departments or companies and track the time they have spent on each project.

Pros: The Time and Attendance system that Paycor comes with is very user friendly. All our employees can easily clock in and out on both their mobile or computer devices, which proves to be very convenient for us.

Cons: Paycor does not necessarily work well for our unlimited time off policies, and it works well only when it comes to paid-time off policies or accruals. In case you or your company needs to get an unlimited policy, you can use the application, but the result will be a negative balance.

  • Easy quick access to vacation sick hours, paystubs, employees information of need it. Very user friendly app.
  • Inability to turn certain features off - Since our service relies on coverage, we cannot just request time off. The shift needs to be traded. I wish I could turn off the "request time off" feature so that it doesn't get used at all.
