Wix Acquires Modalyst – What Changes?
Wix business owners will now be able to sync their online store to a marketplace of thousands of wholesale merchants, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Across such marketplaces, businesses have access to different brands, independent labels, and a range of trending items. In addition, they also have an option to white-label products with personalized branding.
Merchants of Wix
Arik Perez, Wix’s e-commerce Head said that the popular website company is very proud to welcome Modalyst and expand its e-commerce infrastructure.
He also added that connecting merchants to a supplier hub will allow them to increase their product portfolio and help businesses establish a solid market presence with access to dropshipping and private labels.
According to Perez, this acquisition will make it easier for merchants to sell their products and also study the current and upcoming trends. Ultimately, the e-commerce platform will continue to focus on maximizing the store footprint of merchants.
Besides the opportunity of establishing a strong foothold in the market, merchants will also be able to import products to their online store.
Jill Sherman, Modalyst, CEO said, “As a dedicated partner of Wix, we’re thrilled to officially join the team and continue our vision to help merchants grow their stores.”
