Zoho’s BI platform combines different elements such as data integrations, data preparation, augmented BI, visual dashboards, and privacy & security capabilities.
The four main noteworthy and standout features of this platform are data stories, augmented analytics, augmented data management and preparation, and marketplace.
The platform is specifically designed for scalability and can gather data from over 250 sources. This allows businesses to analyze data gathered from various third-party applications such as Mailchimp, Google, Stripe, HubSpot, Zendesk, and more.
Working in sync with external data sources has always remained one of the core strengths of Zoho Analytics. The fact that around 60% of the current users have opted for it as their primary business intelligence platform is a testament to Zoho’s quality.
The platform will provide users real-time insights into their operational data to make vital business decisions with the assistance of Zia, Zoho’s native AI tool.
Zoho’s Plans to Make BI More Accessible
At present, Zoho is currently working toward minimizing the overall cost of its BI platform and making it more accessible to a wider range of businesses.
According to Chandrashekhar LSP, Senior Evangelist, Zoho, even today, most companies still depend on spreadsheets as their default business intelligence tool. This is mainly due to the steep costs and the complexity of advanced business intelligence tools.
The two main barriers that have kept many companies at bay from using BI tools include, one, the process of entering data in the BI tool, and two, the cost of BI applications especially when spreadsheets come as part of the Microsoft Office 365 package.
Over the past few years, more and more companies are relying on data to make business decisions. As a result, spreadsheets are slowly being replaced by AI-driven and cutting-edge BI tools.
As things stand, the user-friendly pricing of the Zoho BI Platform could have a strong impact on the total cost of BI offered by Zoho’s competitors. In addition, as the market continues to expand, rivals may feel the need to lower the prices of their products to remain competitive.
