Health Provider Bolton Clarke Selects Dell Boomi to Integrate Data and IT Systems

Bolton Clarke, one of the largest not-for-profit health and aged care providers in Australia has chosen the Dell Boomi integration platform to integrate its core IT systems and data across the organization. As a result of this development, the centralized data environment provided by Boomi will lay the foundation for Bolton Clarke’s digital care services that are fueled by the Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Data visibility plays a key role in enhancing care and resource allocations for not-for-profit enterprises such as Bolton Clarke. The increasing usage of connected devices to optimize customer experiences is a new trend that has gained traction across the healthcare sector.

IoT in Healthcare

According to research published by Grand View Research, the IoT in the healthcare market is on course to surpass $ 534. 3 billion mark by the end of 2025. [1]

Another study estimated that by the end of 2020, nearly 40% of IoT devices will be used across the healthcare industry. [2]. These numbers indicate the potential scope for  IoT in healthcare which is why health providers are increasingly joining forces with platforms such as Boomi.

Bolton Clarke’s IoT Roadmap

Mitch Franklin, Integration Professional Bolton Clarke said that digitization has opened up new and exciting opportunities for Bolton Clarke. In the upcoming months, the non-for-profit will prioritize leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve customer care.

After analyzing some other alternatives, Bolton Clarke opted for the Boomi platform to connect its cloud-based and on-premises systems which includes linking the organization’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform to various management and healthcare solutions.

Mr. Franklin said, “ The Boomi platform gives us the integration infrastructure to provide a single view of data, irrelevant of location or environment. The ability to then leverage and expand those integrations dynamically to further applications, without the need to re-develop or build new, means we can adapt our business very quickly.”

Apart from helping Bolton Clarke improve its ability to provide new services, Boomi has helped minimize development costs and timeframes for the non-for-profit. All in all, the integration with the Boomi platform will allow Bolton Clarke to become more agile and be more responsive to the evolving healthcare requirements.
