More about iOS 16 – what can we expect?
It appears that the wait for the new iOS version is almost over for Apple users. Over the past few years, new software updates have become imperative as iPhone users are using their existing devices for a longer period than before. However, what changes can we expect from the new version of the iOS?
Among the many changes, the most visible difference in iOS 16 can be seen on the iPhone lock screen. The iOS 16, which is slated to be released in the fall of this year as a free download will enable users to anchor their most-used applications as small widgets on the lock screen. In addition, the new software will also allow the lock screen to show live notifications, including the status of their food delivery, upcoming travel itinerary, and more. Some of the other applications with authorization will be visible at the bottom of the screen instead of how it is displayed currently to prevent clutter on the display screen.
Other than these changes, the iPhone’s messaging system is expected to undergo a few changes so that text messages can be edited after they are sent if the sender wishes to modify or change the content. However, this option will be available only when both parties use Apple’s messaging application for texting.
A lot of new changes for iPads and Macs are designed to make it easier to sync with their iPhone. A few other tools will allow more applications to run simultaneously to perform several tasks on the same screen.
Changes to Apple Pay Service
Are there any changes lined up for the Apple Pay service? Yes, there are. The Apple Pay service is part of the iPhone’s digital wallet and is expected to add a few financing features that will gain popularity as inflation rates continue to rise. The new option will provide flexibility to consumers to stagger the cost of any purchase that is made via Apple Pay over four installments completed within six weeks without any extra charges.
